Atelier Monday / Information
Terms & privacy
The full terms of business are held in Czech, as the binding language of the contract. A short summary in English follows.
Services are provided by Smash Monday s.r.o., IČO 091 10 216, VAT CZ09110216, registered at Legerova 578/70, 120 00 Prague 2, entered in the commercial register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, file 331049.
An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing, normally within two working days. The confirmation states the service, its scope, the price and the delivery date.
Copyright in any design work created for you remains with the studio. You receive a non-exclusive licence to use the design for the space it was made for.
Complaints about the quality of delivered work should be raised in writing, by email or post. Business clients have 14 days from delivery. We review every complaint and respond within 30 days.
Where a client is a consumer and asks for work to start inside the 14 day withdrawal period, the right to withdraw ends once the service has been provided.
Personal data
The controller is Smash Monday s.r.o., IČO 091 10 216, Legerova 578/70, 120 00 Prague 2, [email protected]. When you send the contact form, the website delivers your message straight to our inbox and keeps no copy of it; if that is not possible, it opens your own email program with the message written out and you send it. What we then hold is your message, with your name, your address and whatever you chose to write. We use it to answer you and, if work follows, to carry out the contract; the legal basis is performance of a contract and steps taken before entering one, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We keep an enquiry as long as it takes to answer it and to complete any work that follows, and the accounting documents for as long as the law requires. We pass it to no one except where the law obliges us. You may ask at any time what we hold, and ask us to correct or erase it, at [email protected], and you may complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection, uoou.gov.cz.
When the website sends the message itself, it also reads, once and at the moment of sending, which language version you used, your approximate location as worked out by the hosting provider from your network connection (your IP address itself is not passed to us), your time zone and your type of device, so that we can see the enquiry in context. None of it is stored and no cookie is set for it. The website hands the email directly to our mail provider, Google Workspace.
Cookies
This website sets one cookie, and only if you click the language switcher: it remembers whether you chose English, Czech or German so the site opens in that language next time. It is called am-lang, it expires after a year, and you can delete it in your browser at any time. Nothing else is stored on your device. To understand how the site is used, we measure visits with PostHog, in its EU data centre in Frankfurt, in a mode that uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device: which pages are opened, what is clicked and which website or search brought visitors here. PostHog uses your IP address only to calculate, on its servers, an anonymous code that lets it count visitors, and then discards it; it is not used to identify you or to work out where you are. We see no names, build no profiles and do not record your screen. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used. There is no advertising, and the site loads nothing from anyone else's server, not even its fonts: the measurement, too, goes through our own address. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device except the one cookie that carries out a choice you made yourself, no consent is required and this site therefore asks for none.
